Uniondale is surrounded by some of the most spectacular and scenic mountain passes in South Africa. Prince Alfred Pass is amongst the best. Die Poort and Potjiesberg passes are close by. This is a bikers paradise.


We are popular for mountain biking, so much so, the popular Karoo to Coast race starts here and ends in Knysna.There are many tracks and passes in the area. Bring your bike and enjoy.


There are many places to explore nature. The Kammanassie Nature Reserve area is stunning. Explore “Die Poort” just outside Uniondale with awesome formations and scenery.
